AHA (alpha hydroxyl acid) peels

Alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) are natural acids known for their superior ability to break down impurities on the skin’s surface. AHAs work quickly to remove dull, dead skin cells to reveal a smoother, brighter looking complexion, and stimulate collagen production and create more elastic and thicker skin and firmer skin.

Our chemical peels rely on the active ingredients in AHAs such as glycolic acid to penetrate deep into the skin and unblock pores and create an even skin tone that is softer and firmer smoother skin with less fine lines and wrinkles.

AHAs are natural acids with effective active ingredients that work particularly well to transform age-effected skin with fine lines and wrinkles, and those with sun-damage and pigmentation, scarring or mild acne.

AHA peels offer a powerful skin rejuvenation with minimal down time after treatment.

BHA (beta hydroxy acid) peels

For a deeper skin peel, we offer chemical peels using (beta hydroxy acid) BHAs. Just like AHA peels, these chemical peels penetrate through dead skin cells and encourage new, healthier skin to regenerate.

BHA peels are best for those clients with acne, cystic acne and stubborn pigmentation skin concerns.

BHA peels penetrate deeper than AHA peels, and can effectively unclog hair follicles and counteract overproduction of sebum that causes cystic acne.

Because of this deeper penetration they may cause some redness or irritation after the peel treatment. Your cosmetic doctor, Dr Tom Goyer, can discuss this with you prior to your treatment.

TCA (trichloroacetic acid) peels

For those clients looking for medium-depth facial peel, a (trichloroacetic acid) TCA chemical peels offers the chance to benefit from healthy skin with minimal discomfort.
TCA peels can be used as an intermediate or deep peel to treat a vast array of different skin concerns and assist in restoring firmness and radiance to your skin. They are a concentrated peel that is applied to both the face and neck to deeply exfoliate away dead layers of skin.
